Turrialba - Guayabo -
Santa Cruz -Turrialba
This tour has a combination between nature walk, arqueological site, plus very cool trekking from Guayabo to Santa Cruz community.
We leaving 6:30 am by public bus to Guayabo, there you will get breakfast; Naturalist and educational walk through to Guayabo Arquelogical Monument, this walk is for almost 2 hours.
Next part of this adventure is to walk uphills almost 8km 3 miles more or less; here it is possible you will love the view amazing landscapes and why not?
A perfect view of Turrialba Volcano; trekking is almost 2-3 hours it depends of your pace.
Once you will reach Santa Cruz town is time for a typical lunch, this region is very famous for milk and cheese so that means let’s go and see how this people produce these products.
To walk to la lechería (milk and cheese factory) are 3km walking. Why Santa Cruz is really important well they produce the best cheese and milk in Costa Rica and Central America and also they got a World Guinnes Record they produced the biggest cheese in the world.
And will take a ride back to Turrialba downtown by public bus.
Price per person: $60 (minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 6 people).

What is included: Pick up from your hotel. A Professional Guide certified by ICT (Costa Rican Tourism Institute) and INBio (Biodiversity National Institute) will accompany you Breakfast (snacks and fruits) and Lunch.
¿What to bring? Closed-toed shoes (hiking shoes always the best), sunblock, bug spray, hat/cap, water, rain gear or ponchos, extra food, medicines, binoculars, cameras, extra clothes, rubber boots.
